When you combine a community of passionate founders and developers with a relaxed seaside location, the result is simple: great ideas, genuine conversations, and plenty of enthusiasm.
That’s exactly what happened at the LW15 Supabase Meetup, organized by Ambasada, together with Start-up CT Community, Constanța Developers, Supabase , and local partners 6lab, True Buzz and ZAZ Beach.

The event brought together over 60 participants from Constanța’s tech and startup ecosystem, for an evening dedicated to open-source solutions, low-code innovation, and practical creativity.

The evening kicked off with a presentation by Alexandru Streza (Product Engineer @ Okapi Studio), who demonstrated how a simple wrapper can become an elegant solution for complex problems — without reinventing the wheel.Through concrete examples, Alexandru showed that well-thought-out simplicity often outweighs any form of over-engineering.

Next came Paul Grigoruță (Freelance e-commerce developer), who took the audience behind the scenes of a real security breach discovered in an open-source project. An apparently minor vulnerability (CosmicSting – CVE-2024-34102) turned out to be a gateway for large-scale attacks — a powerful reminder of how critical technical awareness and community collaboration are in maintaining security.

In the end, Alin Lazăr (VP of Product Management @ eRevMax Inc & Product Advisor @ PynBooking România) opened a conversation about the future of low-code development and the role of AI in accelerating startup launches. Alin spoke about how these solutions can shorten the path from idea to prototype, while also addressing their limitations and pitfalls — because not every problem needs AI to be solved.

Beyond the technical side, the meetup was an opportunity to connect local communities — developers, founders, freelancers, and product people — in a relaxed yet energetic and curious atmosphere.

Participants shared their own projects, exchanged ideas and contacts, and discovered that beyond tools and frameworks, what truly matters is the speed and clarity with which you choose the right instruments.
Ambasada and its partners from Constanța’s tech ecosystem will continue organizing events dedicated to innovation, development, and collaboration between startups and developers.
Because behind every great product, there’s a community that learns and grows together.
