Ambasada, a startup accelerator and innovation hub, has joined forces with Ovidius University of Constanța and actively supports this type of event.
Throughout September, Constanța will become a meeting point for students, entrepreneurs, technology experts, public authorities, and European networks — all united around a common goal: accelerating digital transformation and promoting innovation in the region.
A highlight of the festival is the INNOVATION Dialogues Conference, organized on September 24 at Ovidius University. The conference brings together leaders from academia, entrepreneurship, and technology for a full day of presentations, panels, and interactive experiences centered around key topics such as sustainable regional mobility and smart city solutions, artificial intelligence for responsible innovation, cybersecurity and digital self-defense, technology transfer from research to the economy, and the digital transformation of tourism and cultural heritage.
In parallel, visitors will be able to explore the INNOVATION Expo & Digital Wall, an open space where companies, research centers, and startups showcase digital solutions, services, and prototypes with a direct impact on smart and sustainable communities.
The festival also includes other strategic events. Smart Energy 2025 (September 19), organized by the Constanța Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Shipping, and Agriculture (CCINA), will highlight the green transition and sustainable energy solutions, bringing together authorities, companies, and experts to discuss smart energy, smart cities, and green financing.
Also, Artemis Innovation Days (September 23–26) mark the participation of Ovidius University of Constanța in the ARTEMIS University Alliance, a European network of eight universities from France, Greece, Italy, Belgium, Estonia, Germany, Norway, and Romania. ARTEMIS promotes collaboration in research, education, and innovation, with key priorities including regional transition, equality, mobility, inclusion, and sustainability. The alliance aims to create a leading European university focused on the mobility of people, goods, and ideas.
The festival concludes on September 30 with ConneCT_EU 2025, an event organized by CITYINNOHUB and ERBSN. ConneCT_EU provides a platform for dialogue and collaboration between the European networks EEN and EDIH and local communities, focusing on how these networks support SMEs and public institutions through digitalization, innovation, and internationalization. The event’s agenda includes panels dedicated to regional resilience in the AI era, access to funding for innovation and digital transformation, and the role of European infrastructures in the responsible integration of artificial intelligence.
INNOVibe is also a festival of opportunities for students and young innovators. CO-FOUND ME! (September 4) will be the place where startup ideas find their teams. Teodora Moraru spoke in detail about Ambasada involvement in this ambitious project.
“I’m Teodora Moraru, co-founder of Ambasada, and I’m truly glad that we have the opportunity to be part of this festival. Over the past year, the startup founders, entrepreneurs, and developer communities in Constanța have grown significantly, and the events being organized have become increasingly diverse. That’s why we, at Ambasada, together with the Start-up CT Community and Constanța Developers, decided to organize events together — to create a greater impact and to make it easier for our communities’ members to connect and collaborate.
After a first successful event organized in this format in July, we’re continuing with Co-Found Me! (part of the festival) on September 4 at Azuma Beach. The main goal here is to help startup founders find business partners, co-founders with complementary skills, or team members. Founders will present their vision to an audience made up of programmers, digital product developers, and marketing specialists, followed by in-depth discussions at each startup’s table.
Joining us in this initiative are Launch Community and How to Web from Bucharest, who will offer a free ticket to the How to Web conference to the founder with the most appreciated presentation.
We hope this will be a successful event — one of many that we’ll surely organize together in the future.“
Ovidius Innovation & Entrepreneurship Summer School (September 8–19) is another event within the Festival, dedicated to interdisciplinary training and mentorship. Pioneers Ideathon (September 19–20) targets those seeking AI solutions for green ports, while creatiVE Summer School (September 23–24) — focused on virtual reality and heritage digitization — provides the perfect setting for developing digital skills, teamwork, and entrepreneurial spirit.
Through these initiatives, the festival becomes a laboratory of ideas and projects that connect young people with their professional future.
